  • 1 head Broccoli
  • 1 block Silken tofu
  • 1 Katakuriko
  • 1 tsp Chicken soup stock granules
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Broccoli & Tofu Chinese Ankake! in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Cut the stalk into easy-to-eat pieces as well, and lightly boil (about 2 minutes).
  • Step 2
  • Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces and coat with katakuriko.
  • Step 3
  • Combine the sesame oil and vegetable oil to get 3 tablespoons and heat in a frying pan. Fry the tofu until browned.
  • Step 4
  • Add 300 ml of water and bring to a boil. Then add the chicken soup stock and oyster sauce to season it. If the sauce doesn't become thick enough, add some katakuriko mixed with water to adjust.
  • Step 5
  • Place the broccoli on a plate and pour the Chinese-style ankake sauce on top.
