Ingredients: Brown Rice Tofu Cream Gratin

  • 120 grams Cooked brown rice
  • 1 as much (to taste) Mushrooms & vegetables
  • 100 grams Firm tofu
  • 1 Garlic powder or grated garlic
  • 200 ml Non-additive, unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 Salt and pepper
  • 1 generous pinch Panko (optional)

How to Make Brown Rice Tofu Cream Gratin

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Brown Rice Tofu Cream Gratin in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Finely chop the tofu, put it in a heatproof container and heat in the microwave for 3 minutes. Toss out any water that is produced.
  • Step 2
  • Combine the tofu and soy milk in a food processor and blend for 3 minutes. Stir-fry the vegetables and mushrooms and pour the tofu cream sauce over the top. Season with garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 3
  • Fill bottom of a gratin dish with the cooked brown rice and pour the sauce over the top to finish. Sprinkle on some panko and toast in a toaster oven until golden for extra flavour.
