  • 2 Koya tofu
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp Hot water
  • 1 Kinako

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Brown Sugar & Kinako Freeze-dried Tofu Snack in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • We'll be using koya tofu for this recipe. Start by dissolving brown sugar in hot water. Preheat the oven to 160℃ (320°F).
  • Step 2
  • Put the koya tofu in water for about 10 seconds.
  • Step 3
  • Make sure to squeeze all the water out of the koya tofu. Then cut it in strips about 5mm thick. These snacks taste best thin.
  • Step 4
  • Line up the cut koya tofu in a shallow pan or plate.
  • Step 5
  • Pour brown sugar you dissolved in hot water on top.
  • Step 6
  • Cover with kinako.
  • Step 7
  • Spread parchment paper on top of a baking sheet and place your tofu strips across the paper. Bake them in the oven at 160℃ (320°F) for about 20 minutes. Then flip them over and bake at the same temperature for another 10 minutes.
  • Step 8
  • Once they are baked, you can just let them cool on the baking sheet.
