Ingredients: Buffalo Shrimp

  • 24 large deviened shrimp w/tail on.
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 flour
  • 1 cup favorite hot sauce (mine Texas Pete)
  • 8 tsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 of garlic powder
  • 1/8 of black pepper
  • 1 Oil for frying

How to Make Buffalo Shrimp

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Buffalo Shrimp in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Prep shrimp; removing the shell, leaving tail on.
  • Step 2
  • Mix 2 eggs and 1 cup milk together.
  • Step 3
  • Prep a plastic bag with 1 1/2 cup of flour.
  • Step 4
  • Turn on stove and heat oil on medium high heat. About 375°F.
  • Step 5
  • Put shrimp in fridge for about 5 minutes while the oil heats up.
  • Step 6
  • In a small sauce pan mix together the hot sauce, butter, paprika, garlic powder and pepper. Set aside and keep warm on low.
  • Step 7
  • Drip the shrimp in the egg mixture and then in the flour. Placing the shrimp in the flour individually, coating each one before frying.
  • Step 8
  • Add shrimp to the pan and fry in batches of six or more but don't over crowed them.
  • Step 9
  • Drain shrimp and toss is the sauce that you set aside. Enjoy
