Ingredients: Butter Dip Biscuits

  • 1/2 cup butter ( 1 stick )
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt (heaping)
  • 1 1/4 cup milk

How to Make Butter Dip Biscuits

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Butter Dip Biscuits in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Step 2
  • Melt butter in a 13" x 9" baking dish (in oven)
  • Step 3
  • In a medium bowl - add and mix all dry ingredients.
  • Step 4
  • Add milk - Mix well.
  • Step 5
  • Once butter is melted - drop 12 even sized biscuits on top of butter. I use two kitchen teaspoons ( for table use - not measuring use ) - scoop up a heaping spoonful of dough with one and scrape it in to the dish with the other.
  • Step 6
  • Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until very light golden brown. Remove from oven and let biscuits sit for a few minutes to absorb any remaining butter. Serve biscuit buttery side up. Enjoy : )
