  • 2 fillets White fish
  • 1 Miso
  • 10 grams Butter
  • 1 enough to soak the white fish Sake
  • 1 dash Spinach
  • 2 Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 dash Daikon radish sprouts

How to Make Butter-Miso Sautéed White Fish

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Butter-Miso Sautéed White Fish in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • These are the ingredients. (I forgot to take a picture of the cherry tomatoes.)
  • Step 2
  • Soak the white fish in sake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Combine the miso and butter.
  • Step 4
  • Remove the fish from the sake, and drain excess water. Spread the miso butter mixture on top.
  • Step 5
  • Preheat a toaster oven. Place the fish on a tray, and bake until lightly browned (at 200℃ / 400℉, for about 7 minutes).
  • Step 6
  • In the meantime, boil spinach, and make it ohitashi-style (lightly boiled spinach with seasoned with dashi).
  • Step 7
  • When the fish is baked, serve on a plate, and it's done. (Since Christmas is approaching, I garnished it with holiday decorations).
