  • 100 grams ★Cake flour
  • 20 grams ★Buttermilk powder (or plain yogurt)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ★Beet sugar (or regular sugar)
  • 1/4 tsp ★Baking soda
  • 1 tsp ★Baking powder (aluminium-free)
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 ml Soy milk (or milk)

How to Make Buttermilk Pancakes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Buttermilk Pancakes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place all of the ★ ingredients into a bowl and combine with a whisk. NOTE: If using plain yogurt, add it to the next step.
  • Step 2
  • Add the egg and soy milk to the bowl and combine very well. This completes the batter.
  • Step 3
  • Warm up a non-stick frying pan on medium heat. Don't use oil.
  • Step 4
  • Once warmed, place the pan on a damp cloth. It should sizzle.
  • Step 5
  • Return the frying pan to the stove and pour in the pancake mix without turning the heat back on.
  • Step 6
  • Turn the heat to medium and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip them over. Once the other side has cooked, it's done! Top with butter or maple syrup.
  • Step 7
  • Before pouring in the batter for the next pancake, place the pan on the damp cloth and once again let it sizzle.
