  • 1 medium Cabbage
  • 1 packages Smoked sausage (1+ lb)
  • 1 medium Red onion
  • 1 can Tomato sauce
  • 1 Texas Pete hot sauce. I used 1tbs. Use what you like and the amount.
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1 Add salt and pepper as needed.

    Step 1
  • Melt butter in a good size pan that would accommodate all of the ingredients.
  • Step 2
  • Cut cabbage into one or two inch pieces.
  • Step 3
  • Cut the onion in half and then slice into short pieces.
  • Step 4
  • Cut the smoked sausage into bite-size pieces on the bias
  • Step 5
  • Once the butter has melted add the cabbage and onions. Cook on medium high heat until the cabbage is soft.
  • Step 6
  • Add the can of tomato sauce and the smoked sausage. Cover and cook 25 - 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
