  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 spring onions, sliced
  • 2 can chopped tomatoes
  • 4 small olive oil, extra virgin
  • 150 grams sliced chorizo
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 bag of kale, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, chopped
  • 1 chicken stock cube

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Cabbage and Tomato Soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat the olive oil, then add the chorizo, fry until the chorizo has gone crispy but don't burn it. Remove the chorizo from the oil.
  • Step 2
  • Then reduce heat to medium and add the two cans of tomatoes, onions and bay leaves, and fry for a further 5-10 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Then add about 2-4 cups of water and stock cube and bring to the boil.
  • Step 4
  • Once it's boiling add the potatoes and kale.
  • Step 5
  • Boil until the potatoes and kale are cooked, approximately 15-25 minutes extra. Add a bit more water if necessary.
  • Step 6
  • Check seasoning is good before serving and let it rest for 10-20 minutes.
