  • 1/2 small onion or 1/4 large one
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese chili bean paste (tobanjan or豆板醤) or any other spicy chili paste
  • 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Vinegar (I use white wine or rice vinegar)
  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable or grape seed oil
  • to taste Pepper

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Cabbage "Slaw" with Spicy Onion Vinaigrette in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice cabbage very thinly and soak in water for a few minutes. Drain well.
  • Step 2
  • Grate the onion with a grater or food processor.
