  • 3 cup nonfat beef broth or vegetable broth or non fat chicken broth (beef broth is the best)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 2 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cup green beans
  • 1/2 cup chopped zucchini
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1 pepper

How to Make Cabbage Soup

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Cabbage Soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • spray pot with non stick cooking spray
  • Step 2
  • saute onions, carrots, and garlic for 5 minutes
  • Step 3
  • add broth, tomato paste, cabbage, green beans, basil, oregano, and pepper to taste
  • Step 4
  • simmer for about 5-10 minutes or until all of the vegetables are tender
  • Step 5
  • add zucchini and simmer for another 5 or so minutes
  • Step 6
  • Serve hot and enjoy!!!
