  • 2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 -8 candy canes

How to Make CANDY CANE SYRUP

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make CANDY CANE SYRUP in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Start by pouring sugar and water in a saucepan. Give it a stir. Turn on stove to medium high heat.
  • Step 2
  • Meanwhile unwrap 6-8 candy canes. Break them up into pieces. Add to pan. Keep stirring .when candy canes are dissolved. It will turn clear and take on a deep pink color.
  • Step 3
  • When it comes to a boil. Boil 2-3 minutes. Turn off heat. Alliw to cool. Pour syrup into a jar with a lid. I poured mine into half pint canning jars while hot so they would seal. You will only get 2 .
