  • 2 1/2 oz canton noodles, spaghetti noodles is fine
  • 15 1/2 oz mushrooms, I used staw mushrooms, camned drained
  • 8 oz bamboo shoots, canned drained
  • 1 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Heinz ketchup
  • 1 tsp crushed red peppers flakes
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 cup water
  • thickener
  • 1 1/2 tsp water
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch

How to Make Canton noodles with mushrooms

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Canton noodles with mushrooms in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Boil noodles till loose set aside
  • Step 2
  • In a wok or pan add oil get hot
  • Step 3
  • Add mushrooms stir fry 2 minutes add bamboo shoots add salt and garlic
  • Step 4
  • Add half a cup water bring to boil add pepper flakes add ketchup and sugar
  • Step 5
  • Add cornstarch solution, mix cold tap water and cornstarch your thickener
  • Step 6
  • Stir fry for 3 minutes let thicken if too thick add a bit of water add noodles serve hope you enjoy
