  • 5 cup day old bread, cubed
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup egg substitute
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped, peeled apple
  • 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • whipped topping

How to Make Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 2 steps you must follow to make Caramel Apple Bread Pudding in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a large bowl, combine the applesauce, egg substitute, milk, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Fold in bread cubes and apple. Let stand 15 min or until bread is softened.
  • Step 2
  • Pour into an 8" square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake uncovered @325° for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Drizzle with caramel and top with whipped topping. Best if served warm.
