  • Caramel
  • 50 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1 Egg
  • 20 grams Sugar (I recommend light brown sugar)
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 50 grams ☆Cake flour
  • 1/2 tsp ☆Baking powder
  • 1/2 bar Chocolate bar (or chocolate chips)

How to Make Caramel Chocolate Baked Donuts

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Caramel Chocolate Baked Donuts in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put the egg and sugar into a bowl and mix well until thickened. Add the vegetable oil and mix.
  • Step 2
  • Preheat the oven to 180℃.
  • Step 3
  • Put the caramel and sugar in a pot and heat until brown (until you think it looks a little over-browned.)
  • Step 4
  • Remove from the heat. Add the water. (Be careful of splatters!)
  • Step 5
  • Pour the caramel into the bowl from Step 1 and quickly mix together. (It will harden quickly, so mix right away!!)
  • Step 6
  • Once it has thickened, sift in the ☆ ingredients and mix well.
  • Step 7
  • Add the chopped up chocolate and lightly mix. Fill the donut molds with the batter.
  • Step 8
  • Bake for 10~15 minutes in the preheated oven. (For me, it was about 13 minutes.)
