  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup jarred caramel sauce
  • 50 pretzel sticks

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Caramel Pretzel Bars in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 325
  • Step 2
  • Combine butter, sugar, and powdered sugar with electric mixer.
  • Step 3
  • Add in vanilla and beat until combined. Then add in flower and beat until well combined and a dough forms.
  • Step 4
  • Grease an 8 x 8 pan and press 1/3 of the dough into the bottom to make the crust. Put remained of the dough in the refrigerator while the crust bakes.
  • Step 5
  • Bake crust about 25 minutes until its slightly golden.
  • Step 6
  • Take out of the oven and add caramel sauce. Let it sit for a minute to warm up and them smooth it around the entire crust evenly.
  • Step 7
  • Crunch or cut pretzels into small pieces and add then on top of the caramel sauce. Try not to add all the crumbs too, just the little sticks.
  • Step 8
  • Crumble the rest of the dough onto the top of the pretzels, pressing down slightly half way through.
  • Step 9
  • Bake for another 35 minutes or so, until the caramel is bubbling and the crust is slightly golden.
