Ingredients: Carbonara

  • 1 box Pasta (bucatini is my favorite)
  • 3/4 lb Bacon, diced
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 cup Onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Mushrooms, thick sliced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • Black pepper

How to Make Carbonara

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Carbonara in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown bacon to half-crispy.
  • Step 2
  • Boil noodles to taste.
  • Step 3
  • Add mushrooms and onions. Add extra oil if needed. Sauté until onions and mushrooms are browned.
  • Step 4
  • Beat eggs, Parmesan cheese and black pepper in a separate bowl.
  • Step 5
  • Add noodles to bacon/mushroom mixture. Sauté until all noodles evenly coated in mixture.
  • Step 6
  • Add hot mixture to egg/cheese mixture. Stir/toss until coated evenly. Add more cheese, if needed. Serve hot.
