If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Cardamon Rice for Curry in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Rinse the rice well. Add the salt, water, and cardamon, and let sit for 20 minutes. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and steam. This takes a bit less than 15 minutes on my stove.
  • Step 2
  • Once steamed, fluff it all up. Enjoy it with curry.
  • Step 3
  • This goes well with mild and creamy fish curry, too..
  • Step 4
  • For guests, I remove the cardamon from the rice before serving. Feel free to serve it as you like.
