How to Make Carrot Madeleines

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Carrot Madeleines in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • ■Preparation: Melt the butter in the microwave. Grease the madeleine molds with some butter, dust with flour, and let cool.
  • Step 2
  • In a bowl, beat the egg. Add the sugar and whisk until it has thickened. Add the carrot paste a little at a time, mixing as you go.
  • Step 3
  • Sift the flour and baking powder into the bowl and mix together.
  • Step 4
  • Add the melted butter and mix well. Let chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  • Step 5
  • Scoop the batter into the molds. If you fill them too high, they will rise over the tops, so be careful.
  • Step 6
  • Heat the oven to 190℃ (a bit higher if using an electric oven) and bake for 20 minutes (or until a skewer or toothpick inserted comes out clean).
