  • Step 3
  • Add enough water to cover the carrots. Add salt and simmer over very low heat for 1-2 hours. The sweetness of the carrots is brought out by cooking slowly over low heat.
  • Step 4
  • Once the carrots have cooled, put them into a blender and pulse until smooth.
