  • 2 lb carrots
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 salt
  • 1 pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Carrot soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Pour oil in a large soup pot. Heat oil. Chop onion and add to oil. Cook onions until they are translucent.
  • Step 2
  • Peel and chop carrots. Add to onions.
  • Step 3
  • Add curry powder and broth to pot. Cover pot and cook for 30 minutes, just until carrots are tender.
  • Step 4
  • Put carrots in a food processor with 1/2 cup of broth and puree. Add more broth if needed.
  • Step 5
  • Pour carrot puree back into soup pot. Stir well and add more water if you would like a more water down consistency.
  • Step 6
  • Add salt and pepper to your liking. Serve with cheese bread or crackers.
