Ingredients: Cassava Cake

  • 500 grams grated fresh cassava(squeeze the juice)
  • 5 Tbsp glutinous rice flour
  • 1 can condensed milk (reserved 1/4 part for toppings)
  • 1 can evaporation milk
  • 1 tetra pack coconut cream
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp margarine for greasing the pan
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (topping)

How to Make Cassava Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Cassava Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Prepare a baking pan (I used 8"x 8" sguare pan) and grease with butter. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Pour to the greased baking tray. Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Mix the topping ingredients then pour-in over to the top of the baked cassava. Bake for another 15 minutes or until the toppings are caramelized/turned brown. Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before serving or if you can wait ;) till it cools down completely (I prefer it cold).
