  • 1 1/2 cup ground fresh cassava or cassava powder will do
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

How to Make Cassava pudding

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Cassava pudding in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar on an 8 by 12-diameter baking pan, put on a low-fire stove until sugar is melted. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • In a mixing bowl, put the cassava, sugar and coconut milk together, mix well. Add the condensed milk and egg then vanilla extract. Mix with until egg ia totally incorporated.
  • Step 3
  • Pour the mixture into the pan. Cover with cling wrap or foil.
  • Step 4
  • Fill steamer with water. Put the pan with mixture into the steamer (lower deck preferred). Bring on medium fire for 20-25 mins.
  • Step 5
  • Remove from heat, maybe served chilled or hot.
