Ingredients: Cauli-Broc and Cheese

  • 6 oz Broccoli
  • 6 oz Cauliflower
  • 3 tbsp Butter (separated)
  • 1 Garlic Salt
  • 3/4 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Cream
  • 1 tbsp Low carb flour (carbquick is the flour I use)
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce

How to Make Cauli-Broc and Cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Cauli-Broc and Cheese in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Pre heat oven to 350
  • Step 2
  • Wash Broccoli and cauliflower. Cut them down to florets. I buy a 12 oz bag of the two combined to save time.
  • Step 3
  • Bring pot to boil. Turn down heat, combine the two in pot and simmer for about 5 minutes. Drain and add 2 tablespoons of butter and a few dashes of garlic salt to taste. Pour into casserole dish and set aside.
  • Step 4
  • In a sauce pan, Melt butter at a medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of low carb flour and mix well. Slowly pour in cream and stir until bubbly and thick. Turn heat to low. Add cheese stirring constantly. Add a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce stirring constantly. Once your cheese is melted pour over broccoli and cauliflower. (Optional) Don't be afraid to try your favorite cheese!
  • Step 5
  • Cover and Place in oven for 20 mins. Uncover for the last 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and slightly toasted.
  • Step 6
