Ingredients: Cauliflower fried rice

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 slice bacon
  • 200 grams peeled and deveined prawns
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 capsicum
  • 1/4 ginger
  • 3 tbsp tamari
  • pinch himalayan salt
  • pinch ground black pepper
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
  • bunch bean sprouts
  • 1 chilli long red to serve
  • 1 lime wedges to serve

How to Make Cauliflower fried rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Cauliflower fried rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Pulse cauliflower until it resembles rice
  • Step 2
  • Melt coconut oil and fry bacon until crispy. Remove from pan and pan fry prawns until almost cooked
  • Step 3
  • Whisk eggs and make a thin omelette, when cooked remove and slice thinly.
  • Step 4
  • Heat remaining coconut oil and add onion and garlic cook until soft, add capsicum and ginger cook for 3-5 mins add the cauliflower and cook until tender. Add the tamari salt and pepper and remaining ingredients sir fry for a minute or two until heated through.
  • Step 5
  • Serve with splash of fish sauce and chilli if desired
