Ingredients: chapatti

  • 4 cup white flour
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 oil for fry
  • 1 flour for dust

How to Make chapatti

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make chapatti in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • sift dry ingredients . Add oil and water knead until smooth,Divide dough into 12 equal balls.
  • Step 2
  • Roll each portion into round shape, brush with 1 teaspoon oil , fold into cylinder shape ,then folder into conical shape,stand over flour dusty tray, repeat for the remaining balls.
  • Step 3
  • Dust with flour and roll out each piece to 17 cm , diameter disc ,Heat griddle and shallow fry both sides over low heat till golden.
