  • 2 packages white mushrooms
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/2 pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Shrooms

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Shrooms in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Wash mushrooms and prepare a small baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
  • Remove stems from the mushrooms and set aside. Place mushroom caps in baking dish.
  • Step 3
  • Chop bacon into chunks and cook until browned; drain in paper towel lined bowl and set aside.
  • Step 4
  • Now chop up mushroom stems and onion and saute with butter over medium heat until softened. Turn heat to low and add in cream cheese, bacon, parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup of the cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese is all melted and incorporated. Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps.
  • Step 5
  • Top with remaining cheddar cheese and place in preheated oven at 400 degrees. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Enjoy!
