  • 2 cup cubed fully cooked ham
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper

  • 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonaise
  • 3/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1 dash of garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp minced fresh parsley

How to Make Cheese and ham strata

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Cheese and ham strata in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
  • Place cut up/ cubed bread in a greased baking dish.
  • Step 3
  • Top with cooked ham, sauted green pepper and onion.

  • Sprinkle with cheeses

  • In a large bowl, combine soup and milk. Stir in the eggs, mayonnaise, pepper, cayenne, garlic and most of the parsley.

  • Pour over cheeses

  • Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step 8
  • Sprinkle with remaining parsley. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

  • *Note* - Reduced fat or fat free mayonnaise is not recommended for this recipe.
