  • 1 stick butter

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp Italian spice mix
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

How to Make Cheese Poofs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Cheese Poofs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
  • Bring to a boil the water, milk, and butter.
  • Step 3
  • Take off the burner and add the cup of flour. Stir with a wooden spoon until it starts to pull from the sides of the pot (about 2 minutes).
  • Step 4
  • Crack each egg one at a time directly into the mix, stirring each one until it is completely mixed in before adding the next one.
  • Step 5
  • Stir in your cheese. It's your choice on what kind to use. I personally used a 3 cheese mix. (Italian herbs and cayenne are optional).
  • Step 6
  • Drop spoonfuls of the mix on a baking sheet.
  • Step 7
  • Bake for about 20 minutes.
