  • 1/2 cup Splenda
  • 1/3 cup agave nectar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp butter

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 425°F

  • Prrick bottom pie crust
  • Step 3
  • Drain cherries, reserve 1/2 cup of liquid

  • Mix in Splenda, agave, and cornstarch in heavy saucepan
  • Step 5
  • Stir in liquid until smooth
  • Step 6
  • Cook over medium heat, stir continuously, until mixture bubbles

  • Cook for 1 minute or until thick

  • Remove from heat, add butter and cherries.
  • Step 9
  • Slice 3 or 4 vents in top crust
  • Step 10
  • Cover pie with top crust
  • Step 11
  • Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes
  • Step 12
  • Then reduce to 350°F and bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden.
  • Step 13
  • Serve and enjoy.
