  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 cup Water

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 as needed Pepircinni
  • 1 Beef Bottom Roast

How to Make Chicago Italian Beef

    Step 1
  • Mix water, dry Italian dressing, garlic salt, black pepper, and Cilantro in a pan and bring to a boil
  • Step 2
  • Place Beef Roast in a Crock Pot and pour mixture over roast and add Bay Leaf
  • Step 3
  • Cook on lowest setting for 8-10 hours
  • Step 4
  • Take fork and knife and start shedding the roast.
  • Step 5
  • Add onions and peppircinnis and cook in crock pot for another half hour
  • Step 6
  • Serve on hoagie rolls. For added treat put Italian sausage in roll first and dip whole sandwich in sauce.
