  • 2 lb Chicken breast
  • 32 oz Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 Stalks celery chopped
  • 1 cup Chopped fresh or frozen carrots
  • 1 Potato chopped
  • 1 cup Corn
  • 2 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 can refrigerated biscuit dough

How to Make Chicken & Dumpling Soup

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Chicken & Dumpling Soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut each breast into 3-4 pieces
  • Step 2
  • Add chicken, water, broth, garlic, and seasonings to pot. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Remove chicken, shred, and return to pot.
  • Step 4
  • Add vegetables and cream of chicken soup and cook for approximately 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Step 5
  • Break each biscuit into 3 pieces and drop in one at a time to pot. Simmer 10-15 minutes. "dumplings" will expand as they cook.
