  • 500 grams diced chicken,
  • 150 grams mushrooms, diced,

  • 100 grams butter,
  • 1/4 cup self raising flour
  • 1 pints milk,
  • 1 tsp tarragon,
  • 1 egg, for glaze,
  • 1 large pie tin,

    Step 1
  • preheat oven to gas mark 6.
  • Step 2
  • line tin with pastry, greasing tin if you wish.

  • keep stirring until sauce thickens.

  • pour sauce over the chicken mix.

  • place second piece of pastry over top and cut away excess pastry round edge.
  • Step 12
  • pierce middle off pastry + glaze with egg.
  • Step 13
  • put pie in the oven for 30-45 mins until pastry is golden + risen and the pie is piping hot.
