  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 lb Chicken
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning (thyme, oregano, basil)
  • 5 medium Tomatoes (chopped in large cubes)
  • 1 cup Cooked Spinach
  • 5 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Crushed Red Pepper
  • 6 Bacon Strips (cooked & chopped)
  • 1 1/3 cup Half & Half
  • 1 1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese (shredded)
  • 10 oz Penne Pasta
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)

How to Make Chicken And Bacon Pasta

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 17 steps you must follow to make Chicken And Bacon Pasta in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a large skillet, on high heat, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil until hot.
  • Step 2
  • Add chicken and cook on one side on high heat for 1 minute.
  • Step 3
  • While it cooks, sprinkle the uncooked sides of the chicken with paprika and Italian seasoning.
  • Step 4
  • Flip the chicken over, and cook on the other side for 1 minute on high heat.
  • Step 5
  • Reduce heat to medium, flip chicken over again and cook, covered, for several minutes until no longer pink in the center.
  • Step 6
  • Remove chicken from the pan and keep chicken warm.
  • Step 7
  • To the same pan (but without the chicken), add chopped tomatoes, spinach, garlic, crushed red pepper, 1/3 of the chicken (sliced into small strips) and half the bacon (already cooked) & mix everything.
  • Step 8
  • Add half & half and bring to boil. Only after half & half starts boiling, add grated Parmesan cheese - immediately reduce to simmer and stir, while simmering, until the cheese melts and makes the sauce creamy. (Only 1 minute or 2).
  • Step 9
  • Then, immediately remove from heat.
  • Step 10
  • Season with more crushed red pepper and salt.
  • Step 11
  • In the meantime, bring a large pot of water to boil.
  • Step 12
  • Add pasta and cook it according to instructions.
  • Step 13
  • Drain the pasta, rinse with cold water and drain again.
  • Step 14
  • Add pasta to skillet with the sauce.
  • Step 15
  • Add remaining half of bacon.
  • Step 16
  • Slice the remaining 2/3 of chicken into thin strips.
  • Step 17
  • To serve, top the pasta with chicken strips and grated Parmesan cheese.
