Ingredients: Chicken and broccoli

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons veg oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 4 cloves garlic (or as much as you like)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 yellow onion

How to Make Chicken and broccoli

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Chicken and broccoli in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut the chicken breasts into 1/2 inch pieces. Place in a bowl. Pour two table spoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 4 tablespoons of water, half of the garlic, half of corn starch. Set aside let it marinate.
  • Step 2
  • Chop up onion and broccoli.
  • Step 3
  • Sautéed the onion, garlic and broccoli( also ass the hoisoin sauce) for 2-3 minutes on high heat in a large wok or pan.
  • Step 4
  • Than remove from pan or wok. Add the rest of the oil, medium heat and add the chicken. Cook until it is no longer pink.
  • Step 5
  • Add the veggies and add rest of the ingredients. Add a little more water if there isn't enough sauce. Add some soy sauce to taste. Cook u til sauce is thicken. Then viola !
