  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 2 cup bisquick
  • 2 cup whole milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3 tsp chicken granules
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of salt

How to Make Chicken and Dumpling Casserole

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Chicken and Dumpling Casserole in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Step 2
  • Layer 1: In a 9 x 13 casserole dish, melt 1/2 stick of butter. Spread shredded chicken over butter. Sprinkle black pepper and sage over this layer. Do not stir!
  • Step 3
  • Layer 2: In a small bowl, milk and bisquick. Slowly pour all over chicken. Do not stir!
  • Step 4
  • Layer 3: In a medium bowl whisk together 2 cups of chicken broth, chicken granules and soup. Once blended pour over the bisquick layer. Do not stir!
  • Step 5
  • Bake casserole for 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown
