  • 300 g Kabocha Pumpkin
  • 200 g Daikon radish
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • *30 ml Vinegar
  • *50 ml Soy sauce
  • *50 ml Honey
  • *50 ml Sake
  • *100 ml Water
  • 2 tsp Olive oil

How to Make Chicken and Pumpkin Amakarani

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Chicken and Pumpkin Amakarani in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut the chicken into bite size pieces. Heat the pot with 2 tsp of olive oil. Stir fry the chicken on medium heat. Season with a pinch of salt.

  • Cut the pumpkin and daikon into bite size pieces. Microwave them for 2 min on 600W or until they become lightly soft. Then add them into the pot to cook together.
  • Step 3

  • Step 4
  • Occasionally rock the pot to help mix everything and make sure the sauce hasn't evaporated so it doesn't burn. When the sauce is almost gone and all the food has cooked, sprinkle in the sugar and shake the pot a little to mix again.
