  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 lb chicken breasts

  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 28 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp file
  • 1/4 tsp chopped mint
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp whole leaf oregano
  • vegetables
  • 2 lb mixed vegetables your favorite
  • 1 tsp file
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar

How to Make Chicken and vegetables

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Chicken and vegetables in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a pot add the water and chicken. Add all the seasonings for the broth. And boil.
  • Step 2
  • To a pan add butter, onions and bell pepper.
  • Step 3
  • Shred the chicken add to onions and vegetables. Add the tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes. Add mint and vinegar.
  • Step 4
  • Add file to the chicken, after it simmered 5 minutes. Then Simmer till most of liquid is gone. Cover let sit 5 minutes covered
  • Step 5
  • To the vegetables add vinegar, salt and file. Simmer till liquid is gone then add 1 cup of water. Let sit for 5 minutes covered.
  • Step 6
  • Serve, hope you enjoy!
