  • 1/2 packages P.A.N corn flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • warm water
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can sweet corn, drained
  • 8 slice crunchy fried bacon
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup cheese shreeded
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • vegetable oil

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Chicken Bacon Arepas in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a bowl with the flour, oil and a dash of salt whisk and and the water until Forming a paste. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • In a pot boil your chicken breats. Add salt, pepper and half of the onion.
  • Step 3
  • Let the chicken cool down and shred it as much as possible.
  • Step 4
  • Add the corn, the bacon cutted in 1cm piece. The mayo and the cheese and mix it. Add salt or pepper if necessary

  • In pan heat enough oil so you can fry the arepas.
  • Step 6
  • Take a fust fill of corn mix. Make a ball. Then do patties thick enough so you can cut them in the middle like they where hot dogs buns.
  • Step 7
  • Fry the arepas until golden and crispy outside.
  • Step 8
  • Cut the arepas and you can either take out the inside or eat it. (Depends on you).
  • Step 9
  • Fill the arepas with the chicken paste. Serve and enjoy!!
