  • 1 large Chicken breast meat
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Cooking sake
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 Pepper
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Katakuriko
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Olive oil (Vegetable oil is also okay)
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dashi soy sauce (soy sauce premixed with dashi)
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Grated wasabi

How to Make Chicken Breast with Wasabi Mayonnaise

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Chicken Breast with Wasabi Mayonnaise in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut the chicken diagonally. Add the sake, season with salt and pepper. Don't worry if the sake overflows from the measuring spoon. You can use a generous amount of sake!
  • Step 2
  • Lightly coat the chicken with 1 heaping tablespoon of katakuriko. Pour the oil in a frying pan and fry both sides until brown.
  • Step 3
  • Combine the dashi soy sauce, wasabi and mayonnaise to make a sauce. When the chicken is cooked through, coat with the sauce while chicken is still hot.
  • Step 4
  • Serve it on a plate. It looks pretty if you garnish with a shiso leaf, but it's not necessary. Enjoy while it's warm.
  • Step 5
  • . Serve it on raw vegetables and pour more sauce on the chicken. You can eat a lot of vegetables without a salad dressing.
