  • 10 Chicken drumsticks
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 dash Oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ●Sake
  • 1/2 tsp ●Salt
  • 1 tsp ●Grated ginger (tube)
  • 700 ml ◎Water
  • 1 ◎Consomme soup stock cube
  • 3 pieces ✩Curry roux (ready-made)
  • 20 grams ✩Butter
  • 1 tbsp ✩Ketchup

How to Make Chicken Curry

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Chicken Curry in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put the chicken drumsticks, sake, salt, and ginger in a plastic bag, then rub in well. Let sit for 20 minutes. In the meantime, thinly slice the onion.
  • Step 2
  • Pour a small amount of oil in a heated frying pan, and fry the chicken drumsticks from Step 1 over medium heat. When browned, add the onion, and continue stir-frying until they are soft and wilted.
  • Step 3
  • Add water and consomme to Step 2, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes over low heat. Add the curry roux, butter, and ketchup, simmer for another 5-10 minutes, then it's done.
