  • 1 lb skinless, boneless chicken tenderloins (cut into squares)
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 oz parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 packages bow tie pasta

How to Make Chicken florentine

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Chicken florentine in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Salt and pepper chicken. In a non-stick skillet, brown chicken on both sides. Add mushrooms, cook until softened. Remove from heat.
  • Step 2
  • In another skillet heat the canola oil. Add the flour and the garlic. Stirring constantly. Cook until the garlic is slightly brown. About 3 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Cook pasta, drain, and set aside.
  • Step 4
  • Add in milk and chicken broth, whisking the whole time. Cook until simmering. About 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • Add parmesan cheese, and cook until melted. Stirring constantly.
  • Step 6
  • Add spinach. Cook until slightly wilted.
  • Step 7
  • Add chicken, mushrooms, and pasta. Toss these ingredients to make pasta.
