Ingredients: Chicken Fried Quinoa

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup diced chicken
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (I use Braggs)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 pinch Chinese Five Spice Seasoning

How to Make Chicken Fried Quinoa

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Chicken Fried Quinoa in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oil (I use sesame) in a wok just before smoking point
  • Step 2
  • Add cooked quinoa, pre-cooked diced chicken and peas & carrots to wok fry
  • Step 3
  • Add soy sauce and coconut milk - continue Stir frying
  • Step 4
  • Scramble the eggs in a bowl with a splash of water - add to the quinoa and continue to toss to mix through
  • Step 5
  • Add Chinese Five Spice to taste
