  • 400 grams Canned tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp ☆Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp ☆Turmeric
  • 1 tsp ☆Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ☆Cayenne pepper (only if you want it hot and spicy)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Fresh cream (or yogurt)
  • 1 for garnish Fresh cilantro

  • Add about 100 to 300 ml of the chicken soup from Step 4, and dilute the paste. Add salt to taste.
  • Step 13
  • Add fresh cream (or yogurt) and mix. If too much moisture has evaporated, add a bit more chicken soup to adjust.
  • Step 14
  • Add the chicken meatballs and mix. If you love fresh coriander leaves, you could add some chopped here.
  • Step 15
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro to taste and it's done.
  • Step 16
  • If you serve the chicken kofta as the main dish with vegetable sabji on the side, you'll have a nicely balanced meal.
