Prepare the ingredients before making Chicken Lasagna in your home. Then, follow these steps below to serve Chicken Lasagna for your family or friends.

Ingredients: Chicken Lasagna

  • 1/3 cup Chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 clove Minced garlic
  • 1 lb Chicken breast - cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 tsp Parsley
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 20 oz Hunts Fire roasted diced tomatoes
  • 6 Cooked lasagne noodles (6-9 depending on how you like your lasagne. Some people make their last layer noodles and cheese.)
  • 16 oz Low fat cottage cheese
  • 1 cup Part skim mozzarella
  • 2 cup Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese
  • Fresh spinach if you want, stuck in the layers

How to Make Chicken Lasagna

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Chicken Lasagna in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven 350f. Coat a large skillet w/Pam; place over med heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté 2 min. Add cut chicken, brown. Add parsley, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and (undrained) tomatoes. Stir well, bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
  • Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Step 3
  • Coat a lasagna pan with spray. Place 3 noodles in dish. Layer half each: cottage cheese, mozzarella, chicken mixture and Parmesan. Repeat layers. (I snuck fresh spinach in between a couple of layers)
  • Step 4
  • Cover and bake for 25 minutes. Remove cover, sprinkle cheddar. Bake additional 5-10 minutes, until cheddar is bubbly.
