  • 1 box Manicotti
  • 2 cup Ricotta
  • 1 small can of green chillis
  • 1/2 cup diced peppers, onion, tomato, mushroom
  • 1/2 cup Italian dry salami
  • 1 dash olive oil
  • 1 dash salt & pepper
  • For toppings
  • 1/2 cup mixed cheese
  • 1/2 cup olives
  • 1/2 cup Green onions
  • 1 Your favorite marinara sauce

How to Make Chicken Ricotta Manicotti

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Chicken Ricotta Manicotti in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • heat water to a slow boil, add manicotti shells
  • Step 2
  • try to pre cook your chicken breast but if not 375 for about 30-40 min, I usually do 3 large breasts for about an hour
  • Step 3
  • meanwhile.. dice all stuffing ingredients and mix green chilies, mushroom, tomato, ricotta, salami, peppers, onion, a dash of olive oil, salt and pepper and a pinch of shredded cheese
  • Step 4
  • shred your chicken and add to filling mixture
  • Step 5
  • drain shells and run cool water over them to prevent them from sticking together
  • Step 6
  • coat bottom of baking dish with 4-5 healthy scoops of marinara sauce
  • Step 7
  • Carefully stuff manicotti shells and put them on top of the sauce in baking dish
  • Step 8
  • Add toppings or marinara sauce salt pepper cheese olives and green onions
  • Step 9
  • bake for 20 min at 350
