  • 2 cup shredded chicken breast
  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes,salsa, sour cream, guacamole

How to Make chicken tostada

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make chicken tostada in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • preheat oven 350°f
  • Step 2
  • combine taco seasoning,water and lime juice and stirr well
  • Step 3
  • pour half taco seasoning over the shredded chicken and half over pep,and onion
  • Step 4
  • cook chicken in large skillet over medium -high heat until the sause thickens slightly. Remove chicken and keep warm, Add pep and onion and cook until sauce thickens and veggies start to wilt.
  • Step 5
  • lay tostada shells on an ungreased baking sheet
  • Step 6
  • Top each shell 2 tablespoons refried beans, 1/4 cup shredded chicken, pep, and onion and Cheddar cheese
  • Step 7
  • Bake until the cheese just starts to melt. Remove from oven and serve with garnishes
