Ingredients: Chickpea Curry

  • 2 onions
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 2 can chickpeas (400g can)
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes (400g can)
  • 1 tsp garam masala

How to Make Chickpea Curry

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Chickpea Curry in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • slice and dice the onions finely.
  • Step 2
  • crush the garlic
  • Step 3
  • heat oil in a pan/skillet then add the garlic and onion and fry until soft.
  • Step 4
  • add the chilli powder, salt, turmeric, paprika, cumin, and coriander to the pan and stir continuously for a minute.
  • Step 5
  • drain the chickpeas and add to the pan.
  • Step 6
  • add the chopped tomatoes and stir until combined.
  • Step 7
  • cover on a low heat for 20 minutes.
  • Step 8
  • add garam masala and stir. Cover and cook for a further 10 minutes.
