Ingredients: Chilaquiles

  • 10 corn tortillas
  • 2 can el pato sauce
  • 4 eggs
  • sour cream
  • queso fresco
  • oil

How to Make Chilaquiles

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Chilaquiles in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Pour oil into skillet. Enough to fry the tortillas.
  • Step 2
  • Cut tortillas into chip shapes and put into hot oil fry until crispy. Take each batch out and drain on paper towel.
  • Step 3
  • When done frying chips pour all the oil out and put chips back in pan. then pour the cans of el pato sauce and stir to coat all the chips. I add a little water to it. Cover and simmer until chips become saturated by the sauce and become soft-ish.
  • Step 4
  • Cook eggs over easy. (Tastes better with runny yolk with the chips) you dont nees eggs for this meal but its good with it!
  • Step 5
  • Top chips with sour cream and queso fresco (you don't need sour cream and you can use any cheese). And serve with eggs! Enjoy!
