  • 4 3/4 lb 90/10 ground beef very lean
  • 1/4 cup ground turmeric
  • 1/4 cup ground cumin
  • 1/4 cup onion powder
  • 1/4 cup dehydrated onion flakes
  • 1/4 cup Hungarian paprika
  • 1/4 cup granulated garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
  • 28 oz can of tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp salt more if you need
  • 2 tbsp red pepper flakes optional

How to Make Chili for a chilly day

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Chili for a chilly day in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown your beef add onion flakes stir constantly. This will cause the meat to fill the whole chili not in clumps.
  • Step 2
  • When brown, still on heat, add beans and peas. Stir well. Add crushed tomatoes and sauce. Add all your ingredients together stir well.
  • Step 3
  • Let simmer stirring occasionally. Cover let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
